This belt is similar in basic design to our Neoprene Lumbar Support Belt, but is wider and offers more substantial lumbar support.
It features a reinforced back panel, within which
4 removeable flexible stays are inserted. It also has double-pull neoprene tension straps with which to increase the
level of tension and support that the belt is able to offer.
It is particularly useful where a higher level of support is required, but where
good mobility is also needed. Its neoprene construction ensures a good
level of heat retention, assisting the recovery of existing injury.
The belt is suitable for use in everyday
situations such as driving, shopping, housework and so on, where support is
required but the activity not overly restricted.
However for activities involving heavier work involving twisting and lifting such as when undertaking gardening, diy or other manual
activities, this belt does not provide sufficient support. For support
when undertaking more stressful activities we would advise you to consider a
more substantial belt, such as the Special Protectors® Industrial Support Belt
and/or the Deluxe Neoprene Back Support. You will find both these
